Relaxed Laos

Back from our diving holidays we made a short stopover in Bangkok with Yvonne. Fast repack, a train ticket to Nong Khai Third Class) buy (a few rounds of Wii Sports daddeln , dinner in The Mali , a restaurant in Bangkok, and then it went north by train with. I slept beautifully (beer was thanks), and the next morning we crossed the Friendship Bridge to Laos. Of course, there was again little jokes with the usual paperwork at customs. I have asked myself many times what they do with all the paperwork. Is there at the end of the month a small barbecue party? I'll never know.
In Vientiane arrived at the bus stop, we let us once a minibus to Vang Vieng slightly. The dual pricing has clearly paid off - we saved three hours in a crowded bus. In Vang Vieng arrived we looked around for a hotel. A hotel that was recommended to us being remodeled. We found one another across the street, which has been opened only recently. For a mere $ 6U the night we got a huge room with three beds.
In Vang Vieng, there are three things that you can some:

- Drunk on a truck tire gondolas down the river
- Fasting go climbing
Becoming intoxicated on the day must not necessarily be, so we had only the option of climbing. We reported in a one-day introductory course for at Discovery Green at. They are also in the Lonely Planet (LP), a travel guide. How stupid we can actually be off for almost two years? The Traveller's mantra is yet: Avoid providers, which are highly praised in the LP. Well, it was not so bad, but it would certainly have been better. The type of booking office told us that blue sky (as we would have to remember, too) and our guide from climbing even only been three months and we could not really give many hints. After all, we had an experienced Mitkletterer, who had found a buddy and so came with us - he was much more helpful than our guide. So enough whining, it has been fun and yes there are also plenty of other providers. The tags then we have referred to it in spite of sore muscles also benefit.
Then it was already time to return. Only bus travel would have been a bit too boring. Therefore, we covered a portion of the journey by kayak. Captain Peach mastered then as a single (including guides) to a chute to capsize without. Unfortunately, he landed with his crew (Marina) on the wrong river. At the end of our trip, we enjoyed two days in Vientiane. Of course, with plenty of bread and a nice day at the pool where I tried again in swimming. The result compared with Marina course was pitiful.
For the return journey we had made second-class tickets. The sleeper was still much more convenient than to spend the night in a chair.
